Meet Skippy

Wonderful Skippy is 11 years old and is listed as having hemiparalysis of right-sided; his language is not fluent. Due to his special need, his right arm and hand has no strength. He reportedly uses only his left hand and although it is difficult to put clothes on, his file states that he can do very quickly and neatly. He is a sweet boy! Skippy is said to have a ready smile and is called a “sunshine little boy”. He is stated to be clever and has an infectious smile! His teachers’ state that: “the student is active and cute, love to work, help and concern other children, likes drawing and has good imagination.” Skippy is known as Patrick at Shepherd’s Field, the foster home where he is currently living. Read more about Skippy here. He is on the shared list and can be adopted by a family or single woman working with any agency.

Meet Liberty Belle

Unlike other girls, when Liberty first entered the orphanage as a toddler, she adapted to the new environment and she ate and slept pretty well. She didn’t cry or fuss, and she got along well with the other children. It was as if she had returned to her own home, and the teachers were all happy. Now little Liberty is ten years old (born September of 2003) and bashful, quiet, and gentle and fairly introverted. She can express her own needs, though she is a little afraid of strangers. She is diagnosed with right hemiparesis. Liberty has waited for a family of her own for a very long time. She is now on the shared list. Watch this video of her belting a song into a microphone.

Meet Mariella

Precious little Mariella is only 5 years old and is listed as having hemiplegia of right side. She is an adorable little girl with a great personality! She is described as extroverted and active. She spends most of her time playing with other children and she has many friends. She is also very close with her caregivers and teachers. Her favorite activity is playing with toys and she especially loves playing with rag dolls. Mariella has a ready smile and would be a joy to her forever family. She is currently listed with BAAS, contact them for more information or to view her videos.
