find my family: Brayden

April 14, 2015 Family Found 4 Comments

Brayden was born in April 2012 and abandoned when he was 18 months old. After admission to the hospital he was diagnosed with Hemophilia A. His birth parents did leave a note so it is believed that his birth date is known.

After spending about 6 months in a Care Center Brayden was transferred to his institute just before his second birthday. After admission to the institute he began a regular daily routine. He was said to be an active little boy who has a ready smile, isn’t afraid of strangers and is very social. He cooperates with his teachers and sits quietly when asked to do so. He likes to play with toys, and listen and dance to music. His favorite toys are blocks and he is close with his care taker.

His report from December 2014 states that his Hemophilia A doesn’t affect his growth and development. He can walk freely, bend down to pick up dropped toys and can go up and down stairs. Due to his diagnosis they don’t generally allow him to run or jump but they do encourage other exercises he enjoys. His fine motor skills appear on target.

Brayden likes to interact with his care taker and other children. At the time of his report he was speaking in sentences and enjoyed meeting visitors. He is happy to share his crackers with others. Brayden attends a preschool class and performs well. He understands his teachers instructions and is able to string beads, do puzzles, determine big and small and is learning colors. They say he is and active and adorable boy.

My husband and I are interested in adopting Brayden but have not received a response from our requests to view his file from waitingchildinfo.com. Is there any way to contact the adoption agency directly?
    Thank you!

Hi Vanessa, I believe he is listed with AAI in Michigan, maybe you could contact them directly? I will also check in with the advocate for him. Thanks! Liberty
