Jaxon was born in March 2014 and found abandoned in a Baby Safety Island for his institute. His birth family left a note with him saying he had Brittle Bone Disease. After admission it was noted that he had moderate malnutrition and Congenital Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI).

When Jaxon was 8 months old he was treated for multiple fractures of the whole body and it was advised that his activities be reduced to prevent fractures.

At the time of his report Jaxon was 16 months old and reported to have physical growth and development similar to his peers, although they also say that due to his OI he can’t move and lies on a bed quietly. In his referral pictures his leg is wrapped so this could potentially mean that he cannot move due to an injury. His July 2015 x-ray revealed multiple fractures.

He likes the nanny who cares for him and turns his head to locate sounds. He giggles when he’s happy and can say mama. His hands are flexible and he can hold toys and pass between his hands. He can shake a rattle, pick up small objects and put into a bottle, look for toys in front of him and express “no.” He is very curious and likes to explore new objects and cares for the people around him. Jaxon has an extroverted personality, is active and outgoing. He is cute and likes to be cuddled. He enjoys toys, especially ones that make sounds and responds to stimulation of new things. At the time of his report Jaxon wasn’t attending pre-school.
