Laina is a precious two year old little girl who is listed with BAAS. Her special need is cerebral palsy.

Laina is delayed in physical, language, social, fine motor and gross motor development. She can stand for a short time while holding onto something, but she cannot cruise along or walk on her own. She can crawl while her stomach is on the floor. She can sit across her legs with the help of her upper limbs. Her language development is delayed. She can say “Ma Ma”. She communicates her needs by using her eyes and hand gestures. She can understand simple instructions. She can turn the pages of the book but not one page at the time. She can stack up two blocks. She likes to play with other children. She has outgoing personality and is strong-willed. She cannot feed herself yet. She had an ultra sound test on December 8, 2015 which showed she has CHD (VSD), normal heart function, slight back flow of tricuspid valve and pulmonary valve. She had an MRI test on May 13, 2014 on her brain. The suggestive diagnosis was “abnormal image of flake of cerebral ventricular on both sides, possibly caused by hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy”.
