Waiting to be Chosen: Faith

Meet beautiful Faith, new to Lifeline’s Partner list.

Faith is 5 years old with a special need of Down syndrome. She is able to play by herself, make gestures to communicate, and hold a spoon to feed herself.

Faith is described as very lovely – with white skin, a ruddy face and big eyes. She is curious about her surroundings and will laugh out happily when someone plays with her. After she began attending a special education class, she made obvious progress and became more extroverted.

When she is happy, she will reach out to hold other children’s hands. She likes to play with others and often waves her hands at the teachers and other children. She loves to draw on paper with crayon and even though her carers are not sure what she is drawing, she continues to be very dedicated.

Please keep in mind that several families may be reviewing this child’s file at one time. At any given time, this child’s file can go on hold or be taken back to the Shared List by the CCCWA. Please contact your Lifeline social worker or Meagan Smith at Meagan.smith@lifelinechild.org for more information.
