Find My Family: Jude

May 19, 2017 Children Who Wait 1 Comments

Oh goodness, just look at this sweet smile. Read on… he’s even sweeter on the inside.

Sweet-natured Jude celebrated his 11th birthday in October and is living in a foster family at an excellent facility in Beijing.

Diagnosed with mild CP, Jude has worked tirelessly to overcome the challenges he faces. Recently he has taken an interest in chess and calligraphy.

A strong child, Jude exercises daily – often waking before dawn – and a recent update states that he currently walks 1 km each day! Jude’s movements have improved dramatically but he understands that he still has work to do and is committed to working hard to achieve his dreams.

Jude has developed great friends who watch out for him regularly, and genuinely enjoy his company.

Jude is a hardworking, patient boy who will not be deterred by the obstacles in his path and has made it clear that he wants “a family of his own soon.”

Imagine the progress this child could make with a loving family to cheer him on as he pushes himself to the limit of his physical abilities…

Jude is listed with Heartsent who believes so much in his potential that they are providing an agency grant in addition to an orphanage fee waiver.

We began pursuing this child with Great Wall. Do you have his file again. We were just going to start our home study. We have adopted from Korea twice and china once. Two of our children have since gone on to heaven; complications of heart disease. Our son is 8 and we would like to adopt Jude. We have two grown bio children as well.
