Update: My Family Found Me!

Cody ages out this July, he needs a family to adopt him before his fourteenth birthday. He has mild hemophilia, his future and health depend on being adopted. His future, should he remain an orphan in China, is bleak. Cody was found abandoned at a bus station when he was three years old.

Cody is described as shy and easy going. He is very helpful with his foster family, studies diligently in school, and likes to play basketball and soccer. Because he knows he can get hurt easily due to his condition, he also busies himself with chess and reading. He is very polite and loved by those around him.

Cody is currently designated to ATWA, however, if you have not started the adoption process or if you are working with a different agency please don’t hesitate to contact ATWA. They are committed to helping him find a family. He has 6 months left to find a family so his adoption would be expedited. There is a helpful group on Facebook which helps guide families working on expedited adoptions, it can be done!
