No Hands But Ours is committed to encouraging, informing and supporting families as they pursue adoption through the special needs program in China. In an effort to be more purposeful in supporting in-process families as they stretch financially to adopt, we are now featuring one fundraising family per month. If you would like your family to be considered for a future post on NHBO, please complete the short form here.

…..

Remember Jacob? The sweet boy from An Orphan’s Wish with the faith to move mountains? Well, mountains were moved, his prayers were heard and his wish for a God-loving family is coming true.

Some of you may have seen the announcement by Linny Saunders that Jacob is joining the Saunder’s sweet pile of treasures as number 13! Linny and Dwight have ministered to so many of us in the adoption and orphan advocacy community by their example, by their prayers, by their encouraging words and inspiring stories.

Now we have an opportunity to minister to them.

Friends, let’s gather around the Saunders family and shower them with our love, prayers and support. Let’s show them that we can be the hands and knees that help them bring Jacob home.

Linny, who has never asked for anything for herself in all of her years of blogging, has reached out to ask for our help to bring Jacob home.

Please help this beautiful boy come home to this beautiful family. Here are 3 easy ways you can be a part of bringing Jacob home:

1. Share this link. You can click the FB icon below this post – it’s as simple as one click to share this post with your friends.

2. Pray for the family and for Jacob – that obstacles continue to be moved so he can come home before he ages out.

3. Make a donation to their adoption fund.

No amount is too small, no prayer is too small. This child is truly special. I cannot wait to see how his story and his life will unfold in his new family.

Thank you so much for the Saunders family and, most of all, for Jacob.
