Wang was born in October 2012 and was found about two months later. The CWI immediately took him to the hospital for shortness of breath and it was discovered that he has a complex heart condition. He was placed on oxygen and was later operated on in June 2013. His surgery went well, though he continues to have shortness of breath with exertion.

He is friendly and lively with those familiar to him, but shy and quiet around strangers. He is in an orphanage known for good care and consistent caregivers. At the time his file was prepared in May 2014, he was speaking short words, had a good appetite and was not picky, liked outdoor sports, loved music and dancing.
