Jake is 8 years old and his original special needs were listed as malnutrition, vision illegible, correction, heart murmurs, and anal atresia.
Jake attends a bilingual international school, so knows some English, and has a fun personality. Both volunteers, and foster siblings of his that have been adopted, have had good things to say about him! He had a rough start to life, and is truly a miracle, but is currently quite healthy. He has post operative CHD and post operative anal atresia (with the expected effects of that). His special needs clearly don’t slow him down!
Jake is described as shy. He is energetic and active. He runs, jumps, and walks. His intelligence is good. He can express himself clearly and communicate with adults. Jake is independent. He can also recite poems, do puzzles, and recognize simple numbers. He currently resides at a fantastic medical foster home.
