Find My Family: Nathan

November 12, 2016 Children Who Wait 2 Comments

Darling Nathan, born February 2015, is described by his caregivers as cute, sharp and active. They also say he is a very observant boy who is always watching what people are doing and listening to them talk. Nathan is currently designated to AAC.

Nathan is very curious and “will try to get his hands on everything he see.” He is a relaxed baby who can play alone for a while, but will definitely let the nannies know when he needs something by crying very loudly. He loves to be held and is very content sitting in the nannies lap or in front of her on the floor while they play simple games with toys. Nathan babbles but is not speaking yet. He knows several gestures such as bye-bye and blowing a kiss. His physical development is good. He is sitting on his own, but not very steadily. He crawls and can stand for a long time if he holds on to something.

Nathan was born with imperforate anus, which he has had surgery for. He also has hypospadias, congenital heart defect (ASD), and sternal dysplasia. Those conditions have not yet been corrected. He is otherwise a very healthy little boy who is doing rather well.
