Summer, a cute little peanut who celebrates her 1st birthday this month has had a rough start and has been slow to develop.
She was brought to Heartsent’s partnership orphanage when she was one month old and was diagnosed with arthrogryposis, a lifelong condition that affects her limbs. Her file was recently reviewed by a specialist in the U.S., who indicated that Summer’s condition cannot be reversed, however correct treatment could optimize the function of her limbs.
Summer is a quiet, calm baby who loves to be cuddled by her favorite nanny. Despite her challenges, Summer is rolling over, is able to grab for nearby toys and is practicing responding to her name when called. Her report was completed in July and we have asked for current developmental information.
We know that Summer’s needs require special care. Please contact Heartsent Adoptions if you might be the family who can provide Summer with the love and medical care she desperately needs.
I too was born with Arthrogryposis. I WOULD Love to be Summer’s Mom!!!
I am having a hard time getting a response from heartsent, actually no response! Does anyone know if summer is still available ? I would like to know what province summer is in and specifically her medical condition.
