Sofia Waits for a Family

May 20, 2017 Children Who Wait 0 Comments

Sofia is an extroverted 3-year-old who always has a smile on her face. She gets along with her friends and she likes to climb and play outdoors. Since Sofia likes climbing so much, she tries her best to walk by holding onto objects and can climb up a table and climb down.

Sofia is expressive and will clap her hands when she is happy and seeks help from her caregiver if she is sad. Sofia can grip a pen and hold small objects with her left hand but gripping objects with her right hand is still a bit difficult for her.

According to her referral, Sofia is diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Sofia is designated as “Special Focus” and will be available for adoption through one of Living Hope’s orphanage partnerships. Families in any stage of the adoption process are potentially eligible to adopt Sofia. If you would like to learn more about Sofia, please contact Alice at Living Hope. Sofia has a $1,000 grant toward her adoption.
