Crosby Waits for a Family

June 30, 2017 Children Who Wait 0 Comments

Meet precious Crosby!

This handsome and active little guy is 3 years old. Crosby is new to the agency list at Hawaii International Child. He came into care when he was about 3 months old. Crosby has had no delays in motor skills, and is toilet trained. HIC has asked for an update so we will know more about his speech. Crosby has shown no appearance of health issues, other than the typical colds, etc. However, there are a few items in his lab results that are questionable and may be related to his history of Hepatitis A. A family for Crosby should seek a medical review to discuss the lab results as his special need is not easily specified.

Crosby’s nanny reports he is active, has a good appetite, and loves to play with the other kids. Crosby is ready to come home, and be part of a family! You may see more about Crosby at the HIC website.

Update June 29: Crosby’s lab results do not appear to indicate Thalassemia. However, some of the numbers are out of the norm, and may be the result of Hepatitis. He was treated for Hepatitis A before he came to the orphanage, and has received no further treatments. Families should discuss his file with their doctor.
