BinBin Waits

Check out adorable BinBin!

He is 5 and has a diagnosis of progressive muscular dystrophy. Bin Bin was seen by Gladney’s Superkids volunteers in September, 2016 to provide update information on his file which was prepared in 2014.

Bin Bin is such a cutie! He loves to explore and play with new toys. He was very happy, cooperative and compliant with our Superkids volunteers. His caregivers report that he enjoys kindergarten, but sometimes has difficulty staying on task—he would rather be moving around. He does love books and he has started to turn pages and talk about pictures in books.

Bin Bin uses simple words and gestures to communicate. He follows simple commands. He can build tall block towers and write his name. Bin Bin has a diagnosis of progressive muscular dystrophy, though the exact type is unknown. He does demonstrate muscle weakness consistent with this diagnosis. He walks and plays with a ball, but uses modifications in his posture to do these tasks. Bin Bin would really thrive in a family that can provide the support he needs through the years to keep him functional!

Families who qualify to adopt Bin Bin may request further information and to review his file. Interested families may contact Gladney SuperKids for more information.
