Waiting for My Family: Leo

October 18, 2017 Children Who Wait 3 Comments

This sweet little guy is Leo, and he is almost two years old. Leo was a tiny little guy when he was found and was diagnosed with a urological problem (usually requiring surgery). He waits for a family to choose him as his own.

Leo is doing very well and has normal muscular strength and tension, and good movement. Leo was rolling over at 6 months, sitting up and playing with toys by 8 months, and standing and crawling by 10 months. By 12 months, he would approach a caregiver when she stretched out her arms, crawl quickly, and make the sounds “ma” and “ba.” He responds to caregiver’s instructions, asks to be held when he sees familiar caregivers, walks freely, reaches for toys, likes playing with other kids, and is kind of shy in front of strangers. He likes to hold a towel blanket to sleep, eats well, and imitates words.

His file is assigned to BAAS. Please contact Xiaoqing Cai to find out more about little Leo!
