Waiting for You: Waverly

November 30, 2017 Children Who Wait 1 Comments

Sweet Waverly is a nine year old girly girl! She is listed as Special Focus with Agape Adoptions.

Waverly was found abandoned outside the orphanage with an amputated leg when she was four years old. Despite a heartbreaking beginning, this little girl has persevered and is thriving. Now she uses a prosthetic, and though it took some time to adjust to it at first, she walks well with it now. Liver tests in 2016 also showed high levels of fat in her liver. She likes eating meat and does not like vegetables, but nannies try to encourage her to exercise though she does not enjoy it. She is loved by all of her teachers and caregivers. Like many little girls, Waverly loves to dress up. She loves to style her hair with hairpins and we are told that she is happiest when she gets to wear a pink dress!

Waverly is described as quick-witted, active and cheerful. She understands what adoption means and although she is very grateful to her orphanage for taking her in and caring for her, she has expressed the desire to be a part of a family. We know that this bright, thoughtful and loving girl will make a beautiful daughter for a lucky mommy (and daddy).

If you believe that Waverly is meant to be a part of your family, contact Agape Adoptions or call 253-987-5804. They have more pictures and videos and would love to partner with you as you begin your adoption process!
