Felicity Waits

February 24, 2018 Children Who Wait 0 Comments

Felicity was born February 2011, and is diagnosed with Down syndrome, as well as a heart murmur.

April 2016 Information:
Felicity is able to walk and run well. Her speech is not always clear, but staff heard her say “mama” very clearly. Caregivers say it seems like she tries to put 2-3 words together, but they can’t always tell. She’s a very social little girl, who loves to be playing with other kids. A natural little leader, she can become loud trying to get the other children’s attention and get them to follow her! She follows basic directions, but isn’t receiving any formal teaching yet. When asked to point to parts of the face (eyes, ears, nose, mouth) she could do so. Staff watched her put together duplo blocks very well!

January 2018 Update:
An advocate had the privilege of meeting this sweet girl in January. She was a social butterfly. She was a beautiful little girl with the sweetest, deep little voice. She seemed very chatty and engaging. She was very interested in all of the cameras and loved seeing herself on the iPad. This little one would THRIVE in a forever family.💗

Felicity has a Reece’s Rainbow account, and over $12,000 has been donated towards the cost of her adoption! Felicity is on the shared list so a family with any agency could pursue her adoption, please ask for more information about her!
