Waiting Child: Jonathan

Meet Jonathan!

Jonathan is a quiet but playful two year old boy. He is a Special Focus (SF) child that Agape Adoptions is advocating for. He has been diagnosed with Digeorge Syndrome, postoperative Tetralogy of Fallot and left indirect inguinal hernia.

Jonathan was found abandoned when he was four months old and now lives in an orphanage in a large Asian country. In his report from August of last year (when he was 10 months old), Jonathan had good head control, was able to roll over, responded well to sounds and would visually follow moving objects. His fine motor skills were well developed, he was starting to eat solid foods and slept deeply through the night.

Jonathan is described as quiet and gentle. He is a tender hearted little boy who loves affection, and we are told that any time he is upset he will immediately become calm and content if he is held. Although he is quiet, Jonathan is not shy! He loves meeting new people and engaging in new activities. He enjoys playing games with his caretakers and other children. He is closest to his caretakers but we know that Jonathan would benefit most from having a mother and family of his own.

If you would like to learn more about this special boy, contact Agape Adoptions today at 253-987-5804. His agency has requested updated information on Jonathan and would love to have a family waiting for him when it arrives!
