Sweet Silas

Silas is a handsome and happy boy, born in November of 2007 with cleft lip and palate. He has since received surgery to repair both. Silas is said to be extroverted and active. He is friendly when greeting new people and gets along well with other children. Silas enjoys group activities and any sports that use a ball.



At the time his file was prepared a little over a year ago, he was in 2nd grade. He can finish his homework, but needs help with studying.

Silas has been living with a foster family and is very attached to them. They describe him as respectful, passionate, and polite. His foster family and teachers have been working with him to foster his cognitive and language abilities and helping him to improve his confidence.



Silas is newly listed with Madison Adoption Associates. A forever family could open up a world of opportunities for sweet Silas!

There is a $1,000 agency grant for Silas’ adoption with Madison Adoption Associates. Other grants may be available based on the adoptive family’s circumstances. Agency grants are awarded as agency fee reductions. MAA also partners with the Brittany’s Hope Foundation for matching grants, which are given out twice a year January and July) and to families that are officially matched with a child.
