Zeke and His Adorable Cheeks!

August 4, 2018 Children Who Wait 0 Comments

Zeke is an active, gentle, and adorable little boy, with the sweetest of cheeks! Born in October of 2016, he has been diagnosed with malformation of all four limbs. It appears Zeke really has Apert Syndrome.

When being examined, Zeke was given an ECHO, which showed ASD, a little back flow of TV, and normal left heart function.

Zeke’s gross motor skills are good. At the time his file was prepared, he was able to sit alone, crawl, and walk while holding onto something.

His fine motor skills are pretty good too! Although his hands are malformed, he is able to hold food to feed himself and is also able to pick up bigger pieces he might drop.

He understands words said to him, but wasn’t talking yet. His cognitive abilities appeared to be average. Zeke is said to be well-behaved, cooperative, and lovely little boy.

Zeke goes by ‘Rody-Marcio’ with the organization Show Hope, whose care he is under. You can read more about him and the amazing care Show Hope gives here.

Zeke is listed with Madison Adoption Associates and we hope to find him a family that will cherish him! Could that family be yours?

There is a $500 agency grant for Zeke’s adoption with Madison Adoption Associates. Other grants may be available based on the adoptive family’s circumstances. Agency grants are awarded as agency fee reductions. MAA also partners with the Brittany’s Hope Foundation for matching grants, which are given out twice a year January and July) and to families that are officially matched with a child.

Zeke needs a family with an approved home study to be able to move forward with adopting him. If you have an approved home study or a home study in process and are interested in adopting Zeke, please fill out a free PAP Waiting Child Review Form, which can be found here.
