Waiting for Wings: Perry

September 26, 2018 Children Who Wait 0 Comments

Perry is a handsome and sweet 13-year-old boy born in July 2005. He is full of smiles and so very ready to have a family of his own!

Perry participated in an Ambassadors of Hope camp in the fall of 2015. He was the oldest of all the kids in his group, at just ten. His volunteer at that camp stated: “At first glance, he seemed to have so much going against him that he could have been forgiven for feeling defeated; instead, Perry smiled easily and stayed positive despite the cerebral palsy which put him in a wheelchair, and left him in an orphanage.”

Perry draws well and is a good-natured boy who follows directions and shares with others. Becky wrote a terrific blog post about Perry that really shows just how special this sweet boy is. Please check it out here and help us spread the word about Perry!

Perry’s special need is cerebral palsy. He is fully continent, but he does not walk. He uses a wheelchair to get around. Perry needs a family who will see past the wheelchair and see the amazing child that he is!

Please share as Perry will be at risk for aging out soon… and he has from $27,000 up to $37,000 in fees paid for his adoption:

A) $8,000 entire agency fees waived by Madison
B) $6,000 orphanage donation is waived
C) up to an $8,000 grant (or more) from a private donor family
D) eligible for up to 10,000 with Reece’s Rainbow depending on funds (must fill out paperwork)
E) up to $5,000 dollar grant from a church for a Christian home

Perry is on the shared list so a family can adopt him via any agency with a China accredited program. Madison Adoption Associates is waiving all agency fees (equivalent to an $8,000 grant) for Perry’s adoption for a qualified family that chooses to work with MAA to bring Perry home.

We really want to see this wonderful child find his forever family and get home as soon as possible! MAA also partners with the Brittany’s Hope Foundation for matching grants, which are given out twice a year and to families that already matched with a child.

Visit Madison’s website for more info on how to adopt Perry!
