Harrison is an adorable little boy who was born June of 2014. He was estimated to have been abandoned on the same day of his birth. Upon admission, he was diagnosed with spina bifida, eczema, and weakness in his legs.
He received surgery for his spinal meningocele and had a successful recovery. He is developing rapidly and can recognize his name, hold his head up when lying on his stomach, and visually follow moving toys and people. A social baby, he enjoys playing with toys and likes being around his caregivers. They describe him as clever, active, and easy to smile! He can hold a toy in each hand, and will reach and grasp toys nearby.
Although Harrison is very young, his file needs an update, and WACAP would LOVE to request one for an interested family! They’re offering a $4,000 Waiting Child Grant for eligible families! Email WACAP for more information!
