Waiting to be Chosen: Dax

March 26, 2018 Children Who Wait 1 Comments

Dax is a precious little boy, born in August of 2016 and diagnosed with hypospadias and developmental delays. He was sitting independently at 10 months of age, began to stand while holding onto something at 11 months of age and, at one year, was starting to take steps while holding onto rails for support.

Dax loves to be around people, receive hugs, and laugh happily while playing or interacting with familiar people. Dax is an active little boy who likes playing with toys and games with adults or other children in the activity room.

In March of 2017, he entered a foster family on the grounds of the orphanage. He is close to his foster mother and enjoys going outdoors with her. We know he is getting wonderful care while he waits for his forever family to see the blessing they are missing. Could that family be yours?

Dax is listed with Madison Adoption Associates and is from an orphanage MAA formerly partnered with. There is a $500 agency grant for Dax’s adoption with Madison Adoption Associates. Other grants may be available based on the adoptive family’s circumstances. Agency grants are awarded as agency fee reductions.MAA also partners with the Brittany’s Hope Foundation for matching grants, which are given out twice a year January and July) and to families that are officially matched with a child.

Dax needs a family with an approved home study to be able to hold his file or move forward with adopting him. If you have an approved home study or a home study in process and are interested in adopting Dax, please fill out a free PAP Waiting Child Review Form.
