April 28, 2018 Children Who Wait 0 Comments

Born in November of 2006 with mild bilateral clubfoot, Brennan is a handsome boy with a great smile. At the time Brennan’s file was prepared (September of 2016), he was in 3rd grade at a local public school. He showed a lot of growth in his studies, personality, life habits, and physical growth.

He studies Chinese, math, art, music, PE, and English. He was able to do simple addition and subtraction problems and could copy, recognize, and read the common characters in Chinese. He can say names of some fruits, shapes, etc. in English. He is always on time and obeys the rules at school and in his class. He was chosen to supervise the cleanliness of the classroom and he is said to be responsible.

Brennan greets people and helps the teachers and his classmates however he can. He is good at sharing with others and all the other children like him. Brennan’s caretakers say that he is a loving child. He once found a hurt sparrow on his way back to the orphanage from school. He took it to the medical room at the orphanage to see if the doctor could help it. It died and he was sad, but he was sure to give it a proper burial.

Brennan used to be very introverted, shy and not talkative, but he has gradually become much more active, bright, and sunny. He is especially active, enthusiastic, and generous when he is with familiar people. Brennan is a positive participant in activities organized by the orphanage.

He cares about the younger children in the orphanage and helps them to get food, wash bowls, get their school bags, etc. He is very helpful and enjoys sorting toys in the classroom. He will put the toys other children played with in the original position and make everything look tidy. He is often praised by his caretakers for being an obedient and sensible child.

Brennan gets up and goes to sleep on time. He puts on his clothes, brushes his teeth, washes his face, takes a bath, and makes his bed by himself. He washes his hands before having a meal and will get his food and wash his bowl by himself. Brennan likes to run and ride bikes. He is also interested in craft class and PE class. He likes to string pearls, make origami, and assemble toys.

Brennan has good language expression and can pronounce words clearly. He can also sing many songs, including some current popular songs. He will happily take part in performances. When the other children perform, he is always the most positive person and he isn’t afraid to speak with guests in attendance either.

Brennan is listed with Madison Adoption Associates and we sure hope this incredible boy’s forever family sees him soon!
