Eight year old Danny is an extroverted social butterfly who loves people!

Danny gets along very well with others, and is good at communicating. Danny is almost 10 years old and is well behaved and obedient, he can follow directions easily. He has great gross motor skills as well as fine motor skills, with no limitations in either area. He is currently in the second grade, and is doing well in his academics. His caretakers tell us that Danny has great language skills and that he can talk a lot!

Danny has been diagnosed with thalassemia and elevated iron. He needs a family that can take care of his medical needs and treasure his wonderful personality! There is a very supportive thalassemia community in the US, including an private adoption group on Facebook. In addition, the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation offers a $1,000 award to any family adopting a child with transfusion dependent thalassemia.
