Waiting Child Highlight: Paisley

July 26, 2018 Children Who Wait 1 Comments

Princess Paisley is one year old and has a file full of diagnoses as a younger baby. Her update now sounds as though she is doing well. The orphanage staff says, “she is active, lovely and sweet. She is our little princess.” Her special needs are listed as: Premature infant, Hydrocephalus, Cerebral Dysplasia.

She can make different sounds to show her desire. She can sit well alone. She can crawl. She can hold on to something to walk. She can pick up small food to feed herself. She is very affectionate. She plays with other children very well. She is a good eater and is not picky at all. She always wants her nanny to feed her first. She can eat soft rice or noodles, cracker or fruit. Her carefivers say: “we adore her very much.”
