Beautiful Elizabeth is three years old and was born with a very complex heart condition. At 18 months she had surgery – a Bidirectional Glenn. She is adorable, very smart and has a strong, confident personality.
Her file even says she will stand up for injustice for her weaker brothers and sisters. This little gal sounds like a future world changer!
Medical Update:
1. Has she been sick recently?
No.
2. What is her most recent oxygen levels? Has she received oxygen before or recently?
We will let you know levels after we do the test. Never received oxygen except during surgery period.
3. Do you know if she has a spleen?
We never done any test to identify that. We will let you know later.
4. What is her current weight, height, head, etc?
92cm, 14kg, 49cm head, 51cm chest, 13cm foot, 20 teeth
Non-Medical Update:
5. What does she like to eat?
She is not a picky eater. She likes to eat meat specially, also candy, cake, cracker.
6. What’s her favorite thing to do?
She likes the toys with music. She likes to play games with other people. She likes to walk outside.
7. How does she interact with other kids, her caretakers?
She plays well with other children. She can play balls with other children, chase around with each other or play toys together. She follows the instruction well from care givers. She helps them as much as she can.
Elizabeth needs a family to come for her – and soon! Her family must be open to all the unknowns associated with parenting a child with a complex heart condition. Several FB groups exist to help educate and support families with children from China with heart conditions.
